Giving

Thank you and welcome! Interim Chair, Becky Alexander, Department of Atmospheric and Climate Science

Thank you for visiting the Department of Atmospheric and Climate Science Giving Page to explore opportunities to support the people and programs you care about most. The Department of Atmospheric and Climate Science is proud of its excellence in teaching, its faculty’s research, and the many accomplishments of our students, postdocs, and alumni.

From studying global-scale circulation down to a single cloud droplet, faculty and students in the Department of Atmospheric and Climate Science are immersed in innovative research and education to help predict atmospheric changes and how those changes have the greatest impact. As one of the top three atmospheric sciences programs in the nation for undergraduate and graduate education, our faculty and students cross boundaries by using physics, chemistry, and mathematics to understand how our atmosphere touches all aspects of life on Earth.

By embarking on innovative projects and initiatives, the Department of Atmospheric and Climate Science is committed to examining climate, weather, and air quality issues and exploring solutions to build a more resilient future in the face of change. Your support will help enhance our educational and research programs in these areas.

As a donor, you can direct your gift to programs or students in specific areas or to funds that provide broad-based support for the Department. Invest in the Department of Atmospheric and Climate Science by supporting one of our funds below:
